Learning Systems offers many Moodle workshops to help you explore how to use Moodle to create an effective online learning space for your courses. From introducing you to Moodle and how to prepare your resources, to how to build your course, integrate rich media, and use assignments and grades. All workshops are open to UVic instructors, TAs, and administrative staff.
The chart below shows the various workshops that are offered, and the level associated with each. It is not necessary to complete the workshops in a particular order, but we do highly recommend that you complete the Moodle 101: Fundamentals (formerly Let's Moodle: Getting Started) workshop before progressing to any of the workshops in the 200 or 300 level. The workshops in the 300 level are considered more advanced than those at the 200 level.
Look below the diagram for a brief description of each workshop, and details about prerequisites, registration, and more. Then explore the UPCOMING OFFERINGS to register for a workshop online!
Note: Learning Systems offers both face-to-face (F2F) and self-paced online workshops. Choose the one that suits your needs!

Prerequisites
Are there any prerequisites?
Although it is not necessary to complete the workshops in a particular order, we do highly recommend that you complete the Moodle 101: Fundamentals (formerly Let's Moodle: Getting Started) workshop before progressing to any of the workshops in the 200 or 300 level. The workshops in the 300 level are considered more advanced than those at the 200 level.
If you are brand new to Moodle, and looking for a basic first introduction to Moodle and how to prepare your course resources, you might consider first starting with Moodle 099: Pre-Planning (formerly Planning to Use Moodle).
