Moodle Support is the official UVic website supporting the Moodle Learning Management System. It is designed to help instructors create online courses with opportunities for rich interaction. Our community (of which all users belong) is active and provides a variety of ways to not only learn Moodle, but also contribute to our combined knowledge and best practices.If you have never seen a Moodle course before at UVic, you may wish to view the video to the right which reviews a basic course layout.

Course Administration - Allow student access, add TA's, control course look, and more. An extremely important area for instructors.
Add Resources: Variety of methods to add course content (PDFs, external links, images galleries, document library and more).
Add Activities: Includes assignments, forums, quizzes, podcasting, and many others.
Course Side/Tool Blocks - Add a course calendar, Library link, RSS feeds, manage your course menu, and much more.

Beginning of Semester Instructor Checklist

Make course available to students. If you do not, students will not have access.
Add TA's to specific role, depending on what you require them to do within your course.
Have students take our Online Moodle Orientation to familiarize them with the Learning Management System.
