'Promoting Net-Gen Student Engagement Using Multimedia'. Featuring a panel discussion, poster sessions, and short ' flash' discussion sessions with UVic faculty and instructional staff from multiple disciplines who use multimedia in interesting and innovative ways ( Moodle, Blackboard, podcasts, videocasts, YouTube and web 2.0 applications), Also featured: pre-launch of the "Case Studies" multimedia website profiling master online instructors from UVic, Royal Roads University, and Simon Fraser University.
BC Educational Technologies Group (ETUG) Spring 2010 Workshop - June 7 & 8
"3 Cups of T: Teaching, Technology, Transformation". Hosted this year by the University of Victoria. UVic faculty and instructional staff are invited to participate and attend a unique series of hands-on workshops and discussion sessions focused on a variety of uses and best practices of educational technologies. Sessions will include useful teaching tools that demonstrate how universities and colleges across BC are meeting the exploding demand for educational technologies.
